My friend is ready to scrap a 750 maxim engine. The only known issue was the starter clutch.

He is in Dayton Ohio and most likely be glad to take $200 for it. Please pm me for the info, he is not in the forum.

I don't know your friend but you may want to double check his pricing. Found another craigslist posting in the same area (ironic?) with similar circumstances and the owner only wants $50 obo.

By the way I'm near the area and was really searching for a good, used exhaust system for a 650. Sorry to hijack the thread, just posting what I found and wonder if its your buddy?

If it IS your friend, you should buy it for the $50.00 yourself... Fix it and you got a good spare or a good engine to sell??

IF it is your friend...... That's not nice--- offer it to your buddy for 4x the amount you offer to anyone else?!?!

That is my friend, i guess something got lost in translation. It seems like he will take $50 so there's that.

I guessI could buy it from him but have no use for it. I already have two engines on my yard and a third may catch the HOA's attention

Your profile indicates you are in NASCAR country, why would your HOA complain about engines in the yard? Seems more likely they'd complain about a lack of engines in the yard...
