I have removed the alternator rotor and find the alternator stator is rusted in and I can't figure out how to remove it without damaging it.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input. Jack

    Hmmm...
I've encountered your issue once but was able to persuade the stator out with a rubber mallet and a few well placed whacks. Be mindful of the windings, they don't like the whackage. If you are still stuck, a 2 or 3 jaw puller with a long rod are an option.
Of course, you should soak it in Kroil before doing anything else. You might get lucky.
