    The front rim:

The dual disk front brakes line up on the seca's but require the calipher mounting blocks the be milled out for the thicker rotors.

the main thing that get's intresting is the axle bearings are different sizes, the axel shaft on the xs1100 is bigger on the main shank and the end the slides into the fork.

these can be cut down to adapt it to your fork, or if you never want to go back the forks could be drilled out. but.. you could never go back..

    The Rear rim:

The final drive gear to rim drive are different mounting depth and are not compatable, the final drives have different shafts and so the only way i've found to set it up is:

Pull the entire swingarm, final drive and shaft off an an xs1100
(same lenth as a seca swingarm) and
pull the drive shaft bolting flange off the xs11 motor
(this bolts right up on seca/maxim's motors)
bolt up on seca/maxim (all use the same swingarm bearings)

this will drop you to a deeper gear ratio (higher rpm on highway)
if you want a wheelie machine use a xs750/xs850 swingarm setup
    it's a shorter swingarm.

if you want to stay factory gear ratio you will have to use the xs1100
swing arm setup then do the xs750/xs850 FD conversion (not hard)
    See below

the other item is setting up the hydrolic rear brakes.
you will need to weld mounting tabs on to the frame to bolt the master
cylinder and you'll need the brake lever setup and all brake MC and lines and such.

so no... it's not the easiest conversion.. but it's not impossible either.

i'm setting up my 750 seca for the adaption for several reasons.
heavier duty rims, different rear rim size for better tire choise (17")
    disk rear brake
deeper gear ratio (better offroading ability)
