Xj750j problems

Hey everyone new account I’ve never used a forum or anything I’m just trying to figure out my bike and I e used this site a lot for help but now I need to ask questions, please help me or correct me if I’m not doing this right or in the wrong place,

I just bought a 1982 xj750 off marketplace and it is a few problems, it was missing the top hats of two carbs, some electrical issue, left uncovered and I will explain everything if you guys want more info. What I need help with now is how to use xj4ever parts thing,

I am needing some parts for my airbox as its missing 3/4 of the air to carb boots and the site says there is aftermarket but idk how to buy or purchase anything on it, I have been using cmsnl for browsing for different parts but I haven’t found anywhere that has the boots I need.

please let me know how to use it and also if I should continue with this thread for the other things I need help with or to a specific thread or something I’m so not sure how this works but I want to try to get my bike back to original looking good or even a dual carb setup idk.

Anyways please let me know how to use the site or if there’s other things or places to buy from

 

Hey, Len's (Chacal) parts catalog is daunting. First you find what you need for your bike. Take note of the part number associated with it. Then you hover on your username next to Inbox and Alerts on the right side of the toolbar above, select Conversations and start a new conversation with Chacal. Tell him your part number(s) along with the description, your issue so he can double check and make sure what you selected is correct. He will give you all the info needed from there, shipping options, cost and payment types. You then make the payment and he sends the parts out.
