Can anybody provide a part number (or source) for the two washers shown in the attached photo? I boogered them up while disassembling a fork. I sent an SOS to Len, but in the mean time... I don't see the washers in any parts breakdown.

If that is indeed the correct part, 5G2-W2311-00-00, oil lock valve assembly; and Len doesn't have anything, PM me. I know of an NOS source that has them in stock, but they're NOT cheap.

Fitz, thanks for the offer; I ended up improvising (one curved washer per side with no flat washer).

On to the next crisis: I ended up destroying one of the fork bushings, the "obsolete" one PN: 5G2-23125-00-00. Anybody got an extra? Or an alternate part number. I see that most "aftermarket" fork oil seals fit many models. Could one of those other models use a bushing suitable for an XJ750RJ fork. For example:
    1982 Yamaha XJ750R Seca - 5G2-23125-00-00
    2004 Yamaha TTR225 - 34X-23125-00-00
    2009 Yamaha TTR230 - 34X-23125-00-00
    2005 Yamaha TTR230 - 34X-23125-00-00
    2000 Yamaha XT350 - 30X-23125-00-00
    1999 Yamaha XV535 Virago - 2GV-23125-00-00

I recognize the "5G2" prefix as the XJ750RJ; could these other bushings be the same, but designated for another bike?

Thanks for the links, but the damage to the bushing was nobody's fault but mine... I put the bushing back in the fork tube BEFORE putting the stanchion and damper assy in. I tried many different methods to get it back out, but I ended up having to cut the bushing out. It wasn't until after I cut it out that I discovered it was obsolete. So now I am looking for an alternate part. I've got to believe that of all the Yamaha fork bushing still in production, there must be one that fits... right?

Try the international Ebay sites. I've found one on both the German and Italian sites... But, like Fitz says, they're NOT cheap - at around 70-80 bucks a pop!
