personally i think these bikes are way undervalued, people come on this site asking whats a good price to offer for a bike and id say that most say they are practically worthless, ok ,, not worthless but $3,4, 5-$800.. we all know how good these bikes are when everything is maintained /tuned how they should be,like any bike, so i ask how come these bikes arent worth much/desireable? is it cause there were lots made, like most jap bikes or is it that alot would find them hard to keep running at their peak tune? just asking, i will never sell mine because it seems you cant give them away even over here, for example look what a fellow forum member got for some really nice looking 900's in NZ

Well Ken0007, In Australia, I cannot recall having seen one on the road for a long lomg time. The only two spotted in th epast two years have been at Bike dismantelers/Wreckers selling for spare parts. And that is just the problem in Australia....spare parts. I have three of these and as an example I have the head on one of them sent away for reconditioning and could not get something as simple as Valve stem seals for the damm thing. Thankfully Chacal has them in stock!!! Don't know about you, but I cannot locate ANY parts for these in Sydney. Possible explains why you cannot give them away as such. Real shame as they are Bullet Proof.
