    Hello.
I'm building a bobber on Xj900 92. I want add a tank from Yamaha MAXIM. But I'm not sure will it fit plug and play? Maybe virago tank will fit? I've added a photo of my xj900 and (red moto) a tank which I want to add. Thanks for help.
    P.S
Maybe someone have other ideas for a tank to my xj?

You would have better results with the Max tank over the Virago, but not sure if it will drop in place. If any would drop in place, it would most likely be the Max. Many different tanks have been used, but all required some mods.
V-Star650, CB, GS, Ducati, Harley split style and Peanut tanks have been done.

There is a good possibility that a 750 Maxim tank might require very little in the way of modification.

Im thinkin about the tank. But first I want to start and sync the bike. I found many YICS tools. They heve different dimensions. I have herd that the YICS tolls are different for different capacities ( don't know it's true). I found plan of YICS tool i milimeters. Look.

Hi. It has been a while but I am still working;). I am already at the end of my work. The last thing to do is exhaust. I want to cut the pipes and make a short (really sort) exhaust. But I am afraid of noise of the bike. Attatched pictures show how I want to cut the pipes and what I would like to put into the pipes to meke bike a little more silent. What do You think? Maybe You have any other ideas? Anyone did this before???
I wanted to make normal exhaust under the engine but it would make the bike really low. When I brake pipes would slide on the road. So decided to make ultra short;)

There are a few other things on that one that are no longer stock...
And it would appear that Mr Rigidbobber has a thing for black two wheeled transport!
