XJ900 new oner needs help

Hi.......everyone. Purched a 1983 xj900 last December with 18000 miles vin no jya35h003da000406 for $750. Seams to be all stock except the kickstand and the pet cock. One carburetor had idle jet clogged which I fixed and I replaced the old tires. It has been a great running bike all summer. I love the look of this motorcycle and the performance and handling. There a few winter projects I need help with:

1Can't get the light switch off the left handlebar to fix high beam light. problem seams to be in chock cable attached

2Smalle oil leak from gear shifter. Saw a write up on your web sight earlier but cant find it now.

3 Squealing back break. Disk is scored but could it be other things.

All so do you still keep a register on the 1983 xj900? I would like to know how many were imported and how many you have identified.
