XJ900 oil cooler: Will it fit a Seca 2?

    Hello all!

    I'm currently on my second XJ600 and love her to death! I noticed the later versions of my bike, have a factory oil cooler. Today I found and purchased a oil cooler from a XJ900. I assume it will fit my bike?

    Dunno. I found a complete oil cooler setup from an FJ600 and plan to fit it to one of my 550 Secas. The mounting points are a bit different, I'll just have to engineer a bracket.

    You probably are looking at the same situation; the oil filter spacer flange and everything will probably be the same, you probably will need to make or find a bracket for the cooler itself.

    So you think it's a bolt-on except the bracket?

    Most likely. "Think" is the operative word. Since I have 550s, I got one from a 600; holding it up there it looks like it WILL fit perfectly...

    After I make a bracket;

    And get rid of the tach cable (by converting to an electronic tach.)
