XJ900S Fork spring spacer lenghth

    I have just bought a 1994 XJ900S Diversion and am getting it ready for the road. It had a fair bit of oversteer when I test rode it and I suspect it may just have too much preload in the rear but I want to make sure that someone hasn't done something stupid such as lowering the front. The spring length is correct at 500mm. The manual doesn't say how long the spacer above the spring should be. Does anyone have that information?
