1. Some members were not receiving emails sent from XJbikes.com. For example: "Forgot your password?" function to reset your password would not send email to some members. I believe this has been resolved now. Please use "Contact Us" form (see page footer link) if you still have email issues. SnoSheriff

I wanted to say Thanks! to the brain-trust that is XJBikes.com. I recently purchased an '88 Kawasaki KLR650 and quickly discovered why I got it for a song and a dance. The thing would develop what felt like an intermittent miss and I mean bad! ('Bout put me over the handlebar a few times.)

Long story short: "It's the carb. It's always the carb." I think that's how the saying goes. Right, Rick? I pulled it (yes, just one... a nice change of pace from pulling 'The Rack' :D) and gave it a thorough cleaning. I also reread the great article about CV Carbs and how they work. A must read for anyone tearing into their first or fiftieth carb.

Without going into all the gory details, let's just say she runs like a scalded cat. And that makes me very happy. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this awesome site. You help in more ways than you could ever possibly image.

    Cheers,
