So I may need to replace the wiring harness on my 82 400 Maxim and I have no clue what to do.

The reason behind is that my oil pressure light would not comes on when it should. I went through 3 different switches and still is not working (worked for 2 days and then not working again). Some say it's the wiring but when I gnd the wire where it connects to the switch the light will goes on.

That's what I need to check all the wiring and probably replace the harness.

    Anyone done that before?

    Thanks!

that is a ton of work for an idiot light. Do you really need that light to work that badly? I'm just saying...

I'd be checking those connections in the headlight bucket first.
