    They seem to be missing the huge electrical load a decent sized fan will put on the alternator / battery, and the way the journalist regurgitates the technical bullshit from Yamaha is breathtaking in its naivety.
    The one thing that exhaust-driven turbos do well is use otherwise wasted energy.

    Exactly that's why they still use them exhaust gasses driving the turbo.
