I am missing a hatch for the left side compartment on the fairing.
The dealer says it isn't stock but an option and has no idea on parts for it.
The faceplate on it says Yamaha 24M-28300-50.
Any here have any ideas how to find the missing part?

Is the fairing a yamaha fairing. Can you post a pick of the cover you have?
I have a yamaha fairing with good lids for compartments and good windshield everything else is junk. I think I even have the key for the covers.

I did a quick bit of research on the subject of your fairing. Apparently, Yamaha was re-labeling Windjammer fairings and painting them to match the bike. So , even though it has a Yamaha part number, you may be able to pick up Windjammer parts for your fairing at www.craigvetter.com . He invented the Windjammer and now sells replacement parts for them. You just need to figure out which "Windjammer" you have. They might be able to help with I.D.ing it.

Also, Yamaha re-labeled fairings from a company called Pacifico as well. You might try googling them to see what you find.

The fairing is a Yamaha- heres a crappy pic. Looks like i need a new camera too. If it matches your "junk" fairing I could sure use that lid......

I have part of the mount. The rest was cut off by PO to mount turn signals without fairing. Also only have one side panel not pictured.

I have the same Fairing that came with an XJ750J Maxim I recently aquired. I am missing a cover also, but that's because it looks like there used to be a stereo there. Anyway, can you send me a picture of the mount for that Fairing. This one didn't come with one unless it just mounts without one. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out.

    Thanks
