Yamaha SR185 Complete Motor with electricals (Ok, it's not an XJ, but it's a Yamaha)

    1981 or 82 Yamaha SR185 complete motor with electric start. I have not seen it running, but I've hooked a battery up to it and it spins fine.

    I'm posting this here, as many of us have a few other bikes kicking around. This bike was called the Exciter and was only made for two years.

    The engine code starts with 5J7 (see pictures), American SR185's Started with 5H0. That is about as far as I got with decoding the motor vin...no references to Canadian codes on the internet (that I could find anyways).
