I have some XJ 650/750 carbs that I have gone through, cleaned and replaced parts as needed. I no longer need them all and offering them for sale. I believe they will also fit the XJ 700 of that era.
They have been totally taken apart, jet cleaned, floats set, butterflys set and parts replaced. They would have to be tuned to the bike when mounted. They are being offered at $100 per set of carbs.

The carbs for the 700 are not the same as the carbs for the 650/750.

Gee, now I can't get the song from The Lion King out of my head....

    "Mikuni/Hitachi..............da da dada daaaaa,......Hitachi Mikuni!"

Did you do the throttle-shaft seals, fuel-rail O-rings, mixture screw o-rings, bowl enricher jets, etc? What settings did you put the idle mix screws at? What height did you set the floats at?
