    I just drove the bike around the block for the first time.Damn it sounds good.My tach doesnt work.It has the mufflers cut off.My clutch cable is so out of adjustment i can hardly make it shift, it did go low,neutral,first,second then the corner came up.My front brakes are not much better than flintstoning it right now.I bought a mightyvac, will remedy that. I do believe these buckhorns got to come back off.I think it adversely effects handling. So the bike I spent 700 on parts has now for this running driveable bike supplied the battery,mastercylinder,stock exhausts not yet installed, tires,one sidecover and at least the rear tire, maybe the front one.I guess all in all I havent lost much money.And I have a ton of spares if needed.I had 3 cb650s.I hated the headbolt design on those.Near impossible to get onto their bolts and even more impossible to get them out even being careful without snapping one of them.This bike is much like my 80 gs1000.I love the lightweight,super awesome. Now that i finally got the vacuum line on and the throttle cable in its actual DESIGNATED PLACE the bike starts and idles perfectly. Now that I know where those go I could reattach in 15 seconds. I have some handlebars on a kz 1000 frame in my back yard.I might try those. I am xj4ever jr. now
