Hi all the bike is up and running and i just need to balance the carbs.
I was wondering about this tool...
i saw the link to a yics tool at http://home.westman.wave.ca/%7Ejbe/YICS.ht ... but my problem is that here in canada i can't find a threaded #6x32 rod longer than 12 inches.

Is there any other method to make this tool?

    thanks

you only need clean threads at each end, so get your freindly welder to spot 2 together.

Are you in toronto? If you are I was able to get a long rod with correct thread from Brofasco - there are several stores in TO - there are a few 'fastener' firms in toronto. Canadian tire also sells rods

We have threaded rod in spades here in the states. Ace Hardware. I built a few of these tools and they work great!
If you can't find the threaded rod, I'll get some for you. Just pay for cost & shipping. I'll also sell you a tool, if you want one.
