Ok, I've been doing a lot of reading lately on the information highway, and came across a section about cleaning the YICS tube. Problem is, does the main tube connect through the intake, head, or cylinder? Regardless how it connects, how do you clean those passages? I can see running a brush through the main tube, but wont that just clog the little passages with crap?

I gently push a strip of a old cotton t-shirt (with a touch of carb cleaner if necessary) through the passage with a coat hanger (loop the end so it wont mar the passage). I use a piece of (iirc) 14ga wire with a 1/4"- 90* bend to clean the four holes in the top of the passage. A dental pick with a bend or something similar also will work.

I have read that a rifle cleaning kit with hops9 is a good practice.
