YUASA battery

    I've had the same YUASA battery in my XJ650J for 3 years now. No problems. I'm betting it will make it this summer too.

    If you keep the cells properly topped up with distilled water and don't let it sit discharged (maintainer in the off months) most batteries will last a very long time.

    I usually get 4-5 seasons out of a battery on the Norton. Don't know why the XJ would be any different.

    Yeah, I've never had any trouble with YUASA or any other make of battery for that matter. Just maintained them properly. But then this bad situation with one YUASA happens and it makes me wonder what's going on.
