I found an aftermarket set of manifold gaskets for $90 shipped and wondered if anyone here has had any experiences with them. I was able to find the OEM boots and gaskets for $130 and wondered if the $40 difference was worth it.

Here is the link I found for the aftermarket parts.

I think those are the same ones that I picked up off eBay for my bike, I think I paid $100. They work well and the quality was fine when I put them on. They aren't molded like OEM , the corners aren't smoothed out like OEM but that is no big deal. I would save the $40 unless I was doing a full restoration.

I replaced all eight of mine last summer and they work fine. Save the $40, unless you're doing a 100 point restoration.

Well I purchased these boots and mounted them just fine. I would recommend aftermarket unless you really want OEM.

I bought mine from a local place that orders parts from the nearby yam dealer.

I got a 20% discout and paid about $110 out the door!

OEM also :)
