Anyone know of a reliable source to purchase quality carb rebuild kits for XJ cycles? I want to purchase a kit instead of piece by piece from a Yamaha dealer.

I bought some from Sirius Consolidated Inc. They included a float valve, flaot valve seat and washer, and float bowl gasket. No other bits. Looks to be OK quality but not superwonderful good. I will let you know how it works, I just finished today.

Funny you should mention them, spinalator. I just finished rebuilding my carbs last week with kits from Sirius Consolidated. The quality is good (in my opinion), and, as a matter of fact, the parts are the same brand that was hanging on the wall of my local Yamaha dealer (but the dealer had them for a slightly higher price).

I ended up buying them at partsnmore.com, Sirius was out of stock and wasn't sure when they would be getting more in. I want to rebuild the carbs next weekend, I believe they are original and never been opened, this should be fun... :blink: :blink:
