Are you supposed to use gasket sealer to seal the float bowl gasket during a rebuild? I was always under the impression that you do need to do it but I cannot find it documented in any manuals I have read or anywhere on the internet.

Thoughts???

Gasket sealer is not needed on the float gaskets. They aren't subjected to the high heat and pressure like engine gaskets are. just tighten your screws to specs and you will be fine.
