I just had my turbo rebuilt but when I started it up it leaked like crazy. I sent it back to the rebuilders but they couldnt find anything wrong with it. I decided to pull the pan off of it and looked at the oil pump and came to the conclusion that there should be a rubber pipe connected to the oil pan somehow. Does anyone have the parts that they can measure or know of any way to check this other than go to Yamaha stealership and pay for it? am I on the right track?
Thanks
Sean
I think I figured it out. There is no rubber pipe connecting the oil pump to the oil pan but there is a dowel pin :) I just needed to see it in the daylight and not in flashlight light. Now to start it up later today adn see if it still leaks. Doubt it will now
Thanks
