Description: Share your experiences/opinions

I would like to purchase a synchronization tool for my carbs on my Xj750 four. Has anyone had experience using the dial gauges, a mercury tube tool or a Carbtune and willing to share your likes/dislikes and which tool you recommend and why? Also, if possible provide a source for purchasing these tools as there may be some newer members who will need this info.

All methods will work. Gauges are a bit inaccurate and can be difficult to use unless you have a cool little rack for them. Mercury gauges work just fine for most applications and are definitely sufficient for XJs. The carbtune is the primo setup. I love mine... but it's a little overkill.

If you've got the money to blow get the carbtune, otherwise just get the tried and true mercury sticks.

I've got the Morgan Carbtune and it works REALLY nice. You can get them at www.morgancarbtune.com. They come from England, but I received mine within 8 days.

Cary.
