I see from the diagram that there is a screen on the petcock but is there any other filter on this bike?

From My diagrams, the only filter on the bike is the petcock screen.It acts as both the filter and the fuel flow position.

I use an inline filter just to play it extra safe.

The petcock screen was the only filter that came with the bike. That said, it is a good idea to add an inline filter. I spliced mine in about 4 inches from the petcock. That way I can still change it without having to remove the tank. Good insurance IMHO.
