Odd problem I can't figure out.

Left turn signal will not turn until I turn the right one on first.

Any Ideas?

Avoid left turns. Only kidding. Had similar problem. Sprayed some WD40 into the switch, worked it back and forth. Did this twice and problem was solved.
Hope it works for you. These switches are tricky.

Already went through evrything in the swutch housing and headlight assembly. I resoldered all connections, cleaned every contact and slathered everything in Vaseline. Had the same problem before turn signals quit working.
Left signal also has a tendency to stop flashing.
Trying to see if anyone has had the same problem. looking toward relays now I think.
