A few weeks back there was a discussion regarding the rigging of running lights on an older XJ. I remember reading it, but can not find it when I search.

I am intrested in having my signal lights on my '82 XJ 750 acting as running lights as well. The tails lights I remember were painted red in the last discussion.

What was the easiest/cheap way to convert the lights?

Take them apart and install a different socket on the inside. It's really easy.
