ok i have a xj650rj
does the odomter count on miles or km?
also is the white number at the end km or what?
in my xj the miles are bigger thatn the km
so m guessing miles is the main thig right?

In fifth gear, the bike goes very close to 20 km/hr per 1000 rpm. Eg. at 80 km/hr, it revs close to 4000.
If you determine that the speedo is km, the odometer will be km too.

on the speedo the bigger numbers
are miles so im guessing its miles.
but on the odometer what does the last digit stand for?
it is the white number and i dont think ot's miles! <_<

If it is kilometers you'll have a 5 digit number and a 6th digit on the left (which is a different colour) that is tenths of kilometres.
