I have managed to shear an ehaust stud so as it is flush with the head. I have tried drilling it but cannot seem to gain any headway into the stud itself. Has anyone managed to shift one of these? I managed to drill my Suzuki one but the Yamaha one seems to be made of tougher stuff (hardend Steel ???)
i have bout 4 broke off on an exstra head myself. One suggestion is to weld a bolt to the stud and remove that way. the bolts get hardened just from normal use hot cold hot cold etc.etc., other than that i'm at a loss too.
Thanks for the advice Managed to drill through in the end using colbalt drill bits :D
