What spoke wheels can I use on my xj 650?AND can the shaft drive be changed to belt or chain?

Chris...stuck my post up before reading yours! Same question. We're stuck with the rear cast wheel, but could probably find something that will work up front.

There has to be something,maybe off a different bike that will fit.How many shaft drive bikes were made?Will any other brands fit?
I'm not sure I can handle those wheels,they're not ugly,but they are dated looking.

you have to find people who rase the old xs 1100 engines in the mini sprint cars they have or know were to get a chain drive conversion for the 1100 xj i'm thinkin.trust me this has been beat on another site ,it';ll take way to much coin to put a chain on our old bikes. YYYaaa i too would like to run a 300 series rear tire on my xj11.
