Hi, new guy here...glad I found this site. I've an 82 XJ650 that is completely stock. Hope to put some fresh paint on it soon. I've been wondering a spoked front rim might be available off something else. Maybe an older xs model? Change the caliper as well? Any thoughts?

All the XS bikes that I remember seeing are chain drive.

did you mean all the xs bikes are shaft drive? my xj 650,and my xj1100 are both shaft drive.?

The early 80's Virago's where shaft drive weren't they. Did any of them have spoked rims?

Front wheel only, rear wheel swap too involved for shaft drive.
