Yamaha wants $63 for the handlebar controls to fix the missing starter button on a 1982 xj650 maxim. Does anyone know of any cheaper fix or where I can get this cheaper? It will turn over if I stick a screwdriver in the starter hole pushing the spring. thanks,

$30 min. order, switch is like $6, maybe they have something else you need.

iv just replaced my with a universal switch block off ebay, it was new and wired up easy.. all it is is a contact to earth.. but i did replace the throttle control at the same time to a chrome one off a bsa again new off ebay..bootyfull :rolleyes:
