Im battling with my 82 650 maxim to try to get the cylinders off, im about 100000% sure that i have a stuck piston and i have no idea of how to conquer this great feat so i went about it the old fashioned way and have all 4 cylinders near full of pb blaster, but thus far have been unsuccesful in making this thing budge. does anyone have any ideas.

nice hunk of wood and a bfh. if it's stuck you can't hurt it much more than it alresdy is. :o

I would try some hot oil in each cylider first before that big lump of wood cannot hurt to try .hope this works for you i have used this method myself in the past and it worked for me.

Now that thats taken care of, how do i get the cam chain off? Do i want to? Is there any way that i can get this bike up and running without having to pull the engine?
