Just wanted to pass the word on "Life hack" that I found by accident. The bolts to the air box, Side covers, and sure other parts are exactly the same thread pattern ( and a few same length) from the sealed bolt packs that come with a flat screen TV mount bracket. work great and look good.

Being the same thread pattern doesn't mean that they are suitable. Stick to using them in non-critical areas.

if the handlebars hold the TV and all the channels have sky and treetops on you should slow down :)

I have not tried them anywhere else other then the air box cover ( 3 bolts) and the two side covers ( the battery box cover , and matching cover on other side). I am not sure where else the screws are the same. It was more of a FYI because I almost got ride of the bolts since it did not work for anything around my work shop. Now I will keep them knowing they work on my bike.

those bolts are metric 6mm by 1 pitch by length or 6x1x length. most any bolt on the bike that takes a 10mm wrench or a "philips" is that size. just incase you
need to buy some one day
