idle speed stuck

    after rebuilding the carbs,wet testing the fuel levels and synching them with vacuum gauges the bike runs well.
    but I can't lower the idle speed below 2k. no hanging idle on acceleration and it starts right up. the only other thing I can think of is the mixture screws. I set them at 2.5 turns out. Since I am unable to lower the idle below
    2k would that indicate too rich or too lean ? Also no air leaks that I could find with a can of starter fluid.

    2.75 to 3 might be better, does it have a "off idle bog" that would be lean.
    2K, i'd look at that sync again. if your using 4 separate gauges, gang them all together and see if they all read the same

    Used 2 gauges. no bog fires up on throttle. drops back to 1.5 then up to 2 and stays there. 2 gauges 4 to 3, 1 to 2, 2 to 3

    Is the throttle cable not resetting? Holding the butterflies open?
