Got a question I have seen on Amazon ,Ebay and a few other sites .Like this
labwork Pack of 4 Carburetor Vacuum Membrane Diaphragm and wondering if any one has used them looks like all of them go on the same way. Even from JBM Industries I cant see any difference . Through I would
ask and see what has been used

The differences that you can't see will be what matters. I've not used them, but what rubber is used matters a lot. The JBM diaphrams are known to work.

Was just trying to save a few on a fixed income. 1 had a hole in it fixed it last year but noticed engine not running right pulled carbs off and the liquid tape came off need to replace shaft seals so was going to strip down break rack and now that I got an Ultrasonic cleaned an a cheap soda blaster I could do a good job on rebuilding them. right now 100 bucks is a lot.

There is a way to repair small holes in diaphragms, don't laugh a trojan condom cut a piece slightly larger than hole overlap by an inch all around , use rubber contact cement apply on both diaphragms and patch put it in place and let it set up for an hour or so you could also put a patch on the opposite side of hole as well . I once had an 82 Virago and was on the Vrago forum and this was a tip I picked up , several members said this worked for them , definitely cheaper than buying a new diaphragm.

Just a popular brand of condom in the US. I dont think there's anything special about the material compared to other brands.

I'm afraid that prompts more questions than answers - an Otter??

On second thoughts I think I prefer to remain in ignorance
