HSC32 Carb Rack Bench Stand

    I designed this stand because I was sick of having carb racks and carb bodies rolling around the bench.

    I glued on some numbers so that I could keep my bearings straight whichever way I was looking at them.

    With the little spacer block added they work well for holding bare carb bodies:

    And it turns out nice for holding them on the shelf too:

    That is totally awesome. I wonder if I could drill holes for the drain ports and use this for setting fuel levels. Provided I could level the bench it sits on, of course.

    You could probably make it work - but anything worth engineering is worth over-engineering. So I have a different solution for that.

    This monstrosity is designed to hold the rack while wet-setting the fuel levels and allowing access to remove the bowls and adjust the floats:

    Well how bout them apples. Should’ve checked through the other posts too. I built a makeshift carb rack out of PVC pipe when I set my fuel levels. It works, but it’s fiddly and hard to level properly. Yours looks like a way more elegant solution.
