    XJ700 Slipping in 2nd under power

    I have a 85 xj700 with an 81 650 in it. It has the same 2nd gear issue except just about any accel in 2nd causes it to skip. sound horrible!...

    82 750 Maxim... Gonna part it out...

    Is that a 5G2 engine? If so I'm interested in the TCI box. The only parts I have for trade are Honda. let me know, thanks

    can't find any air leaks. the plugs are NGK BR8ES my manual says BP8ES for the 700. Not sur what I need for a 650. Guess I have to get a manual...
