i just spent $80 for the deluxe kit from chacal and got rid of the vaccum operation and ive been extremely happy with it not saying you need...
when mine rev'd up to 9 grand and stayed it turned out the be the throttle cable adjuster by the throttle...a couple turns and we were sitting...
i know its a far ride but im in grain valley and have a barn you can store it in and work on it in...

yes that doesnt bother me..i just mostly need them to replace mine which have stripped jets and screws i dont feel like taking an easy out to...
cant use it, it rates it at 15 amps per circuit....the main power wire needs 30 amps
are the carbs in good shape, like no damaged screws or jets?
hate to point it out but you can buy this from chacal brand new in package for only $15
the most expensive part is the machine shop work..
check you valve clearances now...then clean your carbs, check what jets are there...carb synch....then color tune.....and then check to see if...
