OK so I go a little of B1's luck (he got a free bike :D )

I acquired a MOTOBOSS mesh riding jacket that is a couple of years old. The snaps that compress the sleeves were in the mesh and pulled out during normal use. Newer models have reinforcement for that very reason.

I decide to see if the manufacturer would do anything for me. Turns out MOTOBOSS is a house brand for Cyclegear. I called the customer service and they said they would replace the jacket as they have a 100% satisfaction guaranty and the jacket is defective.

There is a store in Raleigh (had no idea before this) so I went last night and sure enough they offered me a new jacket or credit towards any other jacket. I have no receipts or paperwork of any kind.

So I took the new jacket. One other note this is a $!20 jacket (entry level type of jacket) the web sells them for $109 but they are currently on sale in the store for $70 - great price if you need one. They are also having a 20% off sale on 10/25!

Now that's someone who really stands behind their gear. Big kudos to that company.

there is a cyclegear that just opened a few months ago by my work. Great customer service. If they don't have they'll get it. Great for inexpensive riding gear.
