I heard about xjbikes.com over at the Practical Machinist forum (www.practicalmachinist.com). There was thread over there about what other good forums people frequent and xjbikes came up.

I was on goggle and ebay looking for a project bike and found this XJ750 on ebay. While searching for parts I found this site. I wish I could say I will help others on there quest but not knowing anything on these bikes it looks like I will be asking and looking for all the help.

Soon after I got my SECA I had a question about the electrical system. I posted my question on the Cycle Asylum forum on SomethingAwful.com. One of the "goons" linked me here.

Was looking to buy an '82 XJ650 Seca and doing some research on the net. Googled "Yamaha XJ" and lo-and-behold, there was the xjbikes forum. Lurked around for a few days before I signed-up.

Great forum, and the members have been very helpful so far.

    Cheers,
    Lucky

I found this site by searching google for 1982 YAMAHA SECA 650, as that was all I knew about my bike at the time (well, the time being two weeks ago or so).

I'm Wyldman from Round Rock, Texas U.S.A. Been riding since '71 but this is only my 3rd Yamaha. Bought an '82 Maxim 750 last week with only 10K on it. Will be doing a lot of reading. :)

Found this site through the Yahoo Search Engine.

I had tried to join the old XJ Owners mailing list over and over from '03 when I bought my XJ, until after the accident I had with it in '06 with no luck.

Recently traded the bike I had bought to replace my XJ for something that's not much fun on the highway, figured maybe I could get the XJ running again.

Searched for "xj750 forums" on Google - and here I am!
