Wow, It has been a year and a half since I have been on here. Mainly nothing about the bike has changed aside for a few better-made side panels and the fact the bike is running rough. I have however moved, which really put a damper on the bike. Working on it will be my winter project, Thinking about hard-tailing it.

Addressing Koolaid5: I do have hook-ups at the Harley dealer, you should go to yours and talk to the owner there about forwards. They usually save the stuff people replace with chrome. My Sissy bar slides into my frame and is held in by a through bolt. That is how I attached my fender as well, but honestly would not suggest it. It gets the job done but it is a bit ugly. I would weld some sort of tab to the fender and mount it to the bar just under the seat. Just look around, watch a lot of American Chopper and eventually you will get some ideas.

Most of the pieces are from a harley sportster forward control set. The big Black footrests are BMX pegs. and most of the linkage is stock with extra long pieces of threaded rod instead.

You may need to drill out the holes a bit but otherwise, yeah. Also, I used Grade 8 bolts. They are stronger and i figured it would be worth it with all the pressure you end up putting on them.
