sorry for a delayed response. no I don't recall ever receiving them so I can't help you out much

UPDATE: I have sold a lot of these parts (more than I thought I would) but there are still several items available. see previous page for prices on the following still available clutch handlebar lever, regulator, centerstand, rear drum brake good pads, front brake rotor, handlebar, forks, chrome air box covers, shaft drive boot, rear brake pedal, rear tire well, differential, valve cover YICS, engine head, oil pump, oil pan, clutch friction plates and hub, clutch engine cover, other motor parts besides tranny gears and shifter forks

i've helped quite a few folks with fair pricing including shipping. not here to make a fortune just get rid of parts so they aren't taking space up in the barn. someday I'm gonna have to move outta the house and dad isn't gonna want these parts leftover

PLENTY of nice parts still around on the shelf! most pictures are on my photobucket album and/or previous pages this thread. since the motor is split in half (tranny gears and shifter forks gone) thought I'd snap a few pics of it as well. shipping on these bigger pieces will cost $ obviously but I'm considering your offer FlyGp. others let me know if I can help you out as well! as always, the parts have gone CHEAP to those already purchased some stuff from me. ($13 for an airbox SHIPPED... fyi already sold)

What shape is the clutch assembly in? Price for assembly (including basket)?
I've got a cheesy paper valve cover gasket but I think it's for a non-YICS head. Dont' think it would do you any good.

sorry though, MiGhost has already planned to purchase the clutch assembly with basket next time he travels in my area. we have tentative plans to meet somewhere nearby.

Moellear, what shim sizes are you looking for? Can't remember what I'm going to be pulling, but in a couple weeks I'll have 3 out. I'll look at my parts list when I get home and let you know.

Might be interested in swapping for the front fork emblem. (I know, it won't fit mine.)

no problem MiGhost! hope all is well with you. its great to see you back on the site

Everyone, I confused myself. After member asked how the conditions of the 4 headers are, I went out and tried to put them on my engine just for verification. I failed. They are actually from an XJ750. Each header is stamped in sequence from 1 to 4 and they are in decent shape. I updated the list found on the 5th page with two pictures like always!

    make offers on anything people!

Well I am able to keep on selling these parts off slowly (even items like engine case!). Bringing this thread back from the dead since there seem to be a bigger influx of newbies recently.

ALSO: I wouldn't mind having a stock exhaust system in decent condition. I AM OPEN to trades on the following or else make offers peopel! thanks

    oil filter housing
    passenger peg aluminum braces
rear brake assembly (pads, cover, extension bar, lever)
    oil pump & chain

straight handle bar can go for $15 plus shipping. because of its odd shape I assume UPS is the way to go

decided to keep the engine itself so plan to save the covers. sorry for not updating it sooner.

It was great meeting you as well. Hope the reassembly goes as well as I predict for you. You seem to understand the importance of putting everything back together in a particular order from our discussion so give me a ring if you get stuck anywhere!

the only part associated with a speedometer I have left is a drive unit --> the part that sits in your wheel hub and turns the cable

Please, people, just read before posting. That goes for all forum topics whether it be in sell/trade section, xjchat section, or anywhere else on this website. Not just my thread here.

Some people never cease to amaze me...

Grant it my thread lasted 7 pages, over 13000 views, and I may not have updated in the past few weeks, but that's because I seen a lack of interest in the few remaining parts I have left (which was last compiled on June 10th).

Jester; no where did I mention a frame & title even offered.

Wesgmc; still dealing with that noisy speedo tach assembly? You posted over a year ago telling us all your problem. Bigfitz52 has a detailed write-up on how to lubricate it properly, and responded to your posting as well. Have you attempted to do what Bigfitz52 suggested? I was able to tear mine apart and its working better than ever. Front fork caps... I plan to keep on the spare set of front forks that way if the forks would ever be used, the caps would be with 'em. Lastly, I have no clue what you mean by grips needing endcaps. My guess is the grips must not be original stock handlebar grips, and it would almost be cheaper to get a new set from ebay.

Many, many thanks go out to everyone I was able to offer parts at reasonable prices. The remaining parts will most likely be sold at scrap yard or tossed in dumpster, if I feel I would never use them, and get no more responses.
