Yeah I've done plug checks at all cruising ranges its staying a nice deep tan same throttle response at all ranges it might be just a tad lean 55-70 so I might do some minor tweaking but I also don't have any oil on my pods so I might be able to correct that with a little filter oil

I think it looks good. Nice chop job. I would put a safety ring around the shaft if I were you, if a u-joint failure occurs the shaft would do serious damage to your hind parts or leg. That would suck!

P.S. I just noticed you used the foot pegs and the original foot brake lever for the forward controls. Very sneaky. Guess I won't have to borrow a lathe after all!

any way to mount the headlight back closer to the forks more? I like the look from the front, but from the side it sticks out like a boner.

    just sayin' lol

and x2 at heeding to the brakes before painting wheels ;)

It's all tore down again to fix some of the things I skimped on in the spring

And to change the oil I have to drop the exhaust going to try to figure something out to change that

I thought the front wheel looked like a Johnny Pag. Saw one with a Honda CB750 motor on it on their website and that gave me ideas.

So you had no problems riding the bike by leaving the original jets with the new pods?

The XJ engines love to run lean...right up until there is a hole in a piston.
