Chopper/bobber build update: IT'S DONE! For now

    What model tank is that you have on there now? I really like it on that bike.

    Looking massive. Did you change the rake or does it look like because of putting the rear lower?

    It does have just a little added rake

    That tank is off of a 82-94 sportster but instead of the sharp edges of the normal Penut tank this tank has rolled edges

    Here's one done right. HATE HATE HATE bobbed XJs that aren't stretched. Nice rake, too. Not too much. Just right.

    16oz thanks for the compliment I'm really excited to finish this project but not trying to rush.... Wait till I start working on the exhaust it's really going to be sweet. And it's going to have a crazy sissy bar
    Updates soon.. I've just been sick for two weeks now

    Luckily I make powdercoating for a living..

    First try on two coat process a piece of lint hit the hot tank and I have to blast it all off try again tomorrow pics don't do the finish justice it looks so sweet

    Tank is done now. looks perfect. Now I just need to figure something out for the fenders

    Could you take a picture of the hardtail section on the side with the drive shaft?

    Nice color on the tank. What color for the frame? Also, is the tank a 3 gallon or the 4.5? Really liking that tank and the ribbed rear fender.

    How much rake did you add and did you add too it or just remove tubing too rake it?

    I see from the pic's how you raked the head set. Now for the noob question... where are you stashing the electrics?
