I don't think you will find a better answer than this thread by PainterD

I did something similar on my Seca 750, but i went with a speedo and a tach. The thing to remember is that you can use just about any Japanese mechanical speedo from the 70's and 80's. It will be up to you to fabricate a mount.

Ebay is a great place to find speedometers.

So, are ratio adjustments made in the gear that goes on the front wheel then? And for the most part, everything uses the same ratio from the cable to speedometer?

I went with speedo and tach, both from mikesxs.com.

Broccoli, your old gauges looked great! What did you do to keep them in such beautiful shape?

Did you have to splice the wiring for the new LEDs to work?

It seems like part #03-0748 from MikesXS is for a 2:1 ratio speedo, seems like it would be significantly off. If I am mistaken let me know, I would love to put those on my bike and minimize the giant cluster while keeping the dummy indicator lights.

I'm in the process of switching to this exact set of gauges. I had to order some T1 connectors to get them to slide into the terminal to connect to the stock harness.

How did you splice them in, Digitalbrocolli?
