    Hey I'm looking for some manifolds for my 82 xj650. I need the manifolds for cylinders 2 and 3. If anybody has any in good shape, that would be awesome.

    or i guess they are called carb boots? the rubber parts that go from the carbs to the intakes...

    tough find on here, i looked for awhile as well as a few other people at the same time, no luck. would suggest just repairing your current ones or just for out the awful 50$ or so per boot

    I got enough on the list right now, id like to avoid buying new. Any advice on repair?

    Theres a topic in the general section right now on repair. What i did is slather them in rvt silicone and wrap them in eliectical tape. Streached bike tubes have also been used to cover them

    I went this route - remember the rubber is thinnest at the carb outlet....
