I have a 1982 XJ 650 Maxim and I've been spending the last few days trying to find a bullet style dual filament turn signal with 3 wires so I can use my turn signals as brake lights. I've found maybe 1 or 2 pair that have the 3 wires, but on every set I find, the third wire adds at least $150 to the price of the set.

Has anyone found reasonably priced dual filament turn signals for sale online?

Some of the two wires are also dual fillament. They ground through the housing. The ones I have on my bike are like that. I don't recall where I got them. Ebay I think and they were around $30.

Yes. If you look down the description list you'll see "Dual-filament 12V bulb"

Now how exactly do you plan to run them? If you want marker lights on the dim filament and brake/turn on the bright you're going to need a trailer light controler or find another way to do it.

No problem. Gald to help. If you search the internet a bit you can find those boxes for less than $10 shipped.
