That ammo can is very utilitarian, I'm envious. Just not enough to hack my Max to attempt the same upgrade.

Looks good! Could questions / comments if I may.....

Question: Have you noticed any differance in handleing without the front fender as a fork brace?

Comments: Can you have a passenger? If not have you thought about removing the rear foot pegs & brackets?

I love the olive drab idea, exspecially with your battery box conversion..... what it needs then is a small "pin-up girl" on the lower front of the tank on each side and a name "classy sounding", like the old WWI & II plains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excellent Idea. I've thought of that my self, but another addition you might think about is ammo boxes for saddle bags, I've seen it before with an army themed bike and it looked pretty cool

    Love the look btw

    How are you sanding it?

If I were doing that I would first use the edge of a DA sander to shape it, then finer grit paper and a DA so smooth it. Barring that, and roundish foam sanding block will halp keep it smooth.

I thought of an ammo case too, only swung out and to the right rear with all the electrical crap in it. I saw one in a magazine a while back and thought it looked really good, as does yours.
